Amarige Perfume
The Amarige Perfume was launched in 1991 by the design house of Givenchy.
It is a very sweet yet spicy scent. You will find hints of
fruits, flowers & spices- including melons, citrus, plums,
orange flowers, mimosa, violets, neroli, & sandalwood.
The Amarige Perfumehas been described as a scent for day wear,
romance, & casual wear. The fragrance is sweet, yet tart-
I think it transitions well from day to night.
The Amarige Perfume is definitely a floral fragrance. If you
don't like smelling the roses you wont like this perfume.
But if your a girly girl you'll be in heaven. It's sweet,
flowery, yet spicy aroma will get attention. You cant help
but notice when someone is wearing it.
Since
this is a Amarige Perfume you only need a tiny dab on pulse
points or it is overwhelming. Less is more with this Amarige Perfume. This fragrance has a very evening feel to it, very
appropriate for a night out, or a date or just to wear around
on your days off of work. It may be a little to much for wearing
at work though. This perfume can be worn strong or subtle,
and it is still wonderful. I receive many compliments on this
perfume when I wear it. It seems to be more of a fall or winter
type fragrance, when it would be appropriate for wear anytime.
Or spring, summer fragrance in the evenings or nights out.
Would
make a wonderful gift. The Amarige Perfume can also be purchased
as part of a gift set. The most common gift set I found was
the 1.7 ounce bottle of perfume with a 3.3 ounce tube of body
lotion. It has a smell that is very unique, and does not smell
like any other fragrance on the market right now. It is very
much a grown up perfume, and yet smells very 'now' and goes
with any fashion types! The Amarige Perfume comes in a 3.4
ounce bottle which lists for about $75, but which I found
at the drugstore (Drug Emporium) for $35 and which without
effort I've found on line at a number of places for about
$40. I bought the 1.7 ounce bottle which has a sleeker looking
profile. At the drug store, it was $29. I found it on line
for about the same.
I really
like my Amarige Perfume and have gotten compliments from friends
and family on it. Of course, I had to stick my wrist under
a few noses to get opinions. That's okay though. People shouldn't
be able to smell you from across the room. Perfume should
be a subtle thing. I don't know that the Amarige Perfume will
become a new favorite, but it is certainly going to become
a scent that I will wear regurally.
