Animale Cologne

This Animale Cologne was introduced in 1986. This Animale Cologne has a blend of fruit, greens, cedar and pepper. Accompanied by oriental amber and sandalwood. I happen to love this Animale Cologne as an everyday scent. It's NOT too over-bearing like some scents can be. The rectangular bottle is very handsome with its Deco motif. Very clean vertical lines - black with gold accents and lettering. It measures 6 - 7/16" tall, 2 - 1/16" wide and 1 - 7/16" deep.

A word on scents: I learned that you can buy "testers" of any fragrance. Testers are made by the manufacturer to help promote their fragrance. They're designed to see if you'll like it and to see if the fragrance lasts on you. With many online merchants selling perfumes, EDTs and colognes, you can buy testers usually without a box or cap (depending on the designer) for a lot less money. This is great when purchasing for yourself. I have purchased "Animale Cologne " through online stores and saved bunches. The Animale Cologne is also available in most department stores and in fragrances outlets in malls and outlet stores. It is categorized as a woody oriental that is in the end refreshing. Let me for a moment beg to differ.

The Animale Cologne is gross and jarring. The extremely modest pricing (ranging from $25 to $40) for a comparatively massive 3.4oz, is definitely reflective of the product's quality. And that quality is SERIOUSLY lacking in appeal. The Animale Cologne is not the kind of thing that I, as a woman, would every spray on my body with the illusion of replacing my beloved Angel. The woman that does so needs a MAJOR reality check and a credit card to take to the local department store. She probably also needs to stop using AquaNet to stiffen a claw head and Rave garb. Men? Well, if you find one wearing this crapola, run the other direction as they are probably also sporting a painfully groomed moustache and black socks with tennis shoes. Pricing: Obviously, if you shop at a department store, you'll pay more. The range for the 3.3 oz spray bottle is from $28 to $45 depending on if it's a tester or not and if you're shopping online or in the malls.
