Anna Sui Perfume
I
received the Anna Sui Perfume as a Christmas present last
year. It was a 3.4 oz Anna Sui Perfume spray in an elegant
square bottle. It was really a treat for me because I don't
usually wear perfume, and the only ones I owned were those
cheap drugstore kinds, like Coty or something. Well anyway,
I'm not used to owning a high-end brand like the Anna Sui Perfume either so I was pretty happy.
When you spray the Anna Sui Perfume on, you only need one
or two sprays to get the scent. After that it smells too strong.
You have to let it dry for about 15 minutes before it mixes
with your body chemistry and you smell the lovely scent. When
you first spray the Anna Sui Perfume, it's a little strong
and smells more like alcohol, so wait for the dry down before
you judge it. If you're testing this in stores, it's best
to sniff those pre-sprayed cards, or better yet, spray it
on your self and wait, instead of sniffing it from the bottles.
I think
this has hints of vanilla in there. Kate Moss is the model
for the ads, so they are marketing this towards a younger
crowd, as opposed to the types that wear old classics that
wear Coco Chanel. To me, Coco Chanel smells nothing like Coco
Mademoiselle. I don't like that scent - it's just unpleasant
and stuffy. The Anna Sui Perfume smells more fresh and youthful.
It is a warm smelling fragrance, and it might be too strong
to wear on hot, sticky summer days. For people who get headaches
around strong perfumes, you should really test this out when
you buy this because I can't wear this when I have a huge
headache - it gets to me. They also have a light Anna Sui Perfume
Eau Du Toillet version out right now, which my mom has which
is lovely as well, but I prefer the more scented Parfum.
Overall the Anna Sui Perfume has a very unique scent. People will
definitely recognize this when they smell it, or they'd be
so pleased with it, they'd ask you what it is. I've had a
few people tell me they really like it. Usually I don't wear
enough that it clouds me so no one complains about it. As
for lasting power the Anna Sui Perfume lasts all day, and it will
keep lasting until you take a shower and do your laundry.
The smell doesn't change so the quality is really high. Those
cheap drugstore scents usually wear off until it smells like
chemicals.
