Anthracite
Perfume
The Anthracite Perfume
is a floral Oriental composition from the European house of
Jacomo. The Anthracite Perfume made its debut in 1991, along with a
male counterpart of the same name. the designer of the Anthracite Perfume
Gérard Courtin discovered a new passion for perfumery.
He gave his full devotion to this field and excelled in this
new endeavor. He imagined the Anthracite Perfume with a bottle inspired
from a sculpture of the Modern Art Museum of New York and
a fragrance composed like a musical partition in languages
ever so close. Eau Cendrée was his first creation for
men, followed by its feminine counterpart, Chicane, sold solely
in the Jacomo boutique in New York. A very cosmopolitan New
York clientele came to ask for them, seeking them even outside
the United States. The Anthracite Perfume, ever since it was first
launched, has embodied the spirit of Jacomo itself, thus testifying
to the company's activity and dynamic approach. This new bottle,
rectangular in shape and in black glass, reflects the force
and boldness of masculine beauty, truly exciting and unforgettable!
The Anthracite Perfume has demonstrated its strength of innovation
by being the first one to use the Zippo opening system in
the world of perfume. The pure lines and bursts of metal symbolize
the excesses of the masculine world. Presented in a black
holographic case, the Anthracite Perfume grants to be sober and chic
to express the pure elegance of the woman he represents. Pioneer
of the Zippo opening in perfumery, Jacomo de Jacomo modernizes
its technical specificity through its automatic pushbutton
system enriched with a metallic finish.
The Anthracite Perfumeopens
with a green top note of basil, bergamot, and hyacinth, blended
to lift and brighten the rich floral heart of rose and jasmine.
The finale consists of cedar, vanilla, and amber, forming
a slightly powdery, lingering impression. Clad in shades of
raven black, Anthracite speaks to the depths of one's soul,
of mystery and intrigue and midnight rendezvous.
