April Fields Perfume
The April Fields Perfume
is marketed to young women with the promise that chance is
always in their lives, whether it drops by, tempts them and
pops up where it isn't expected. The marketing technique is
geared to dramatic moments and newfound loves for young women.
This philosophy, in my opinion, is contrary to what April Fields Perfume
looks like which I find fascinating. I wanted to review another
product that is so cool looking - clearly geared for young
women - a fragrance by Escada. The April Fields Perfume bottle is very
conservative looking and sophisticated and at first glance
I though it would be a traditional April Fields Perfume smell that says
"refined and gentle." It is a spray bottle with
a cover over the spray. It is beautiful really in its simplicity
with just the words April Fields Perfume on it.
The April Fields Perfume
comes in 3 sizes: 1.2 ounces, the one I bought which is 1.7
ounces and 3.4 ounces ranging in price from $38.50-$75.00.
The 1.7-ounce cost me $49.00. It is suggested that the April Fields Perfume
be sprayed lavishly and I agree. At first it will smell a
bit potent, but that fades leaving a wonderful, light aroma.
The woman who helped me agreed as well. You can handle several
sprays all over the body. The April Fields Perfume Hyacinth, White Musk,
Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Fresh Vetyver Citrus, Absolute of Iris,
and Amber of Patchouli. (Some of you baby boomers may remember
Patchouli oil. It was my scent of choice back in the 60s,
which may be what drew me to Chance!)
The April Fields Perfume
is a combination of florals, with both sweet and spicy elements
thrown in. It has an absolutely gorgeous fragrance and I will
go so far out on a limb to say that at this point I can distinguish
Eternity if someone walks by me. That is the only fragrance
I can say with certainly, "I love your Eternity."
Chance could become as unique as that to me. It smells like
nothing else I have smelled. It is a little strong, but when
sprayed, the spray is light enough that you will just smell
wonderful.
I would
recommend the April Fields Perfume for eveningwear. It is, in my opinion,
a little too sensual for office wear but perfect for nighttime
use! I would use it liberally as suggested. It is a fragrance
that is quite unusual and although marketed for young women,
I love it - but then again, I'm young at heart. Seriously,
this is the April Fields Perfume s attempt to get the younger woman and
they have done it with April Fields Perfume but don't exclude it for
the older woman in your life as well.
